This cleaner was a god send. I was chosen to receive this cleaner free from a relative within the company. It came at the perfect time. We just rescued a new puppy who was far from potty trained. My home is two stories and I loved how the large wheels on the back made bringing the machine up and down the stairs easier. It was also wonderful not to have to attach other hoses to clean the stairs on my way back down.The size and design of the tank cut my refills in half. I was able to clean 6 rooms with only 1 refill.With my old cleaner I had to make many passes over tough stains. The brushes on my new machine wiped out stains with only one or two passes on tough spots.I also liked that my floors were not as wet when done as with other cleaners I have used.This is the perfect addition to my hand held machine for spot cleaning(Also a Bissell).

What I first love about this deep cleaner is that it is a big upright carpet cleaner but it has a handheld stain remover. Before we have had to use a small handheld carpet cleaner for everyday messes and then we'd rent a big upright cleaner once or twice a year. This is awesome to have at home for both everyday messes and deep cleaning. The cleaner unit itself is big but its not really heavy to push and it does glide nicely across the carpeting. You do only get a small bottle of the cleaner solution so you will need to buy a bigger bottle immediately. After using this in a small area I couldn't believe how much dog hair was picked up, and I didn't even notice all the dog hair before! This deluxe cleaner really works as good (if not better) than the one we would rent once a year. The water tank is huge and it has a pet hair trap so it doesn't clog. WIth heatwave technology it really heats up the water to penetrate those stains. So far we haven't had any problems with it and I am amazed at how well it cleans!

The Best Vaccum I've Ever Used

Oreck Magnesium Upright Vacuum Cleaner

I love this vacuum:
- it's very lightweight so using it on the stairs and transporting between floors is not a work out,
- fits easily under coffee table and the couch. Also I am impressed how powerful it is, it sucks all dirt very well,
- switching bags is very easy thanks to zippered main body,
- doesn't "eat" rugs and socks;) it turns off when sucking too long drapes and any fabric, unlike my Hoover which I like too, but vacuuming the rugs is a challenge,
- works smooth on carpet, tile and hardwood floors,
- love the design and colors,
- easy to store, sturdy and well made,
- comes with 7 year warranty and 3 yearly tune ups.

Minuses:
- it comes with 30 feet cord and 40 would be better for me (I still have to change the sockets),
- like most regular vacuums it doesn't do good job on cleaning corners, so additional just one tube for that would be nice. Luckily for me I have a hand held vacuum. I googled and Oreck Magnesium actually comes in a combo with portable vacuum, but but it's more expensive. If regular Oreck would be the only one I'd just get small kitchen vac for those corners.

While in the process of buying our townhouse, we discovered during the home inspection that a chipmunk had found a gap at the top of the foundation and had made a nice little home under the enclosed stairs. The since-evicted chipmunk was, of course, not housebroken, so it left droppings and urine all over the bare concrete floor. (Yuck.) Concrete is porous, so the urine had soaked in. A bleach solution killed the germs but didn't touch the odor. So, I did a lot of Internet research and settled on Nature's Miracle for our first attempt at odor removal. We used one quart, in two applications (one right after the other). We followed the instructions, except that we left it on for somewhat longer than recommended. Poof! Odor gone! Plus, we really appreciated that Nature's Miracle has essentially no odor itself (and I'm really sensitive to such things).

This is the first time I've ever reviewed anything...but we love this vaccuum so much that I couldn't resist! We've never had a canister vac before but it's truly changed the way I feel about vacuuming. I used to HATE vacuuming; now I use my vac almost daily. It's so easy to use and to store. I used to hate pushing around a big, awkward, heavy vac that wouldn't fit anywhere. This Kennore is SO easy to maneuver and fits in all the tough to reach places (ie under the bed, crib, low chairs and couch). Its also very quiet compared to any other vac I've used (including a very expensive Dyson, which didn't hold a candle to this Kennore!) It's so quiet, I can hold my infant child while vacuuming, which comes in very handy. The other features I love are the suction control, the adjustable handle and the power brush (awesome for carpeted stairs). The tools go on and off very easily--it's very user-friendly. Our older child can even pick up his messes now! The coolest thing is, when you're done, it has a retractable cord!! No more having to wind up a bulky cord! Ive had none of the issues that the people who gave this poor reviews have had. I've used it almost daily for a month. I can see why Consumer Reports rates this so highly!

Eureka Style Micro Lined Replacement Vacuum

There's really nothing to dislike, i.e. no "cons" that I've identified, about this product/ these products. They are exactly as described, and as prescribed by the manufacturer, for use with my Eureka upright vacuum.
Just one point I learned, by trial and error, that other users might find helpful: when attaching a new bag, I find it is easier to lay the vacuum down flat on the floor. This way I have less trouble slotting the cardboard paper bag collar into the slots on either side of the back ledge, while at the same time inserting the hose adapter (outlet) into the bag's collar. I hope this makes sense! But I think you'll find it clearer if you have the vacuum in front of you, with the bag cover off.
My personal experience is that similar, non micro-lined replacement vacuum bags aren't as efficient as the ones being reviewed.
