Smartpool Climber In Ground Pool Cleaner
I purchased the nitro wall climber over a year ago. It works great! The price is great and he does a amazing job cleaning the pool Not a single problem, I hope I am not jinxing myself. This is the first time I have ever written a review. We even named our Nitro, "Rudy". My son really loves him because he doesn't have to clean the pool anymore. The biggest plus is that you don't have to clean your filters as much. We decided that we needed something electrical after hurricane Ike. We had no electricity for days and the pool was disgusting, Now if we lose power due to a horrible storm we just plug Rudy into the generator and voila! And you can now keep cool in the pool while waiting for the electricity to turn on. :) But hopefully that won't happen again for a long time. Our pump went out last October and I put Rudy in everyday for a week and he pumped so much water that the pool still looked good! Overall it is a product that has all pluses!

Received this robot by mid June 2010 and so far this is a win/win situation, this robot is a winner, 200/400$ less than other brands, but it cleans the pool perfectly well, as described by other reviewers, and is very easy to clean and maintain. Building the Caddy Cart is extremely easy, and operating this robot is even easier, that little thing is cleaning the Swimming pool to the perfection, and yes it climbs the wall really well, cleaning absolutely everything in sight. This robot even reach the water line, stops, and go back in the water to continue is cycle, speaking of there is two modes, the first being the three hours long one, and then the quick one of just one hour, so the first day i got that thing, i ran the long cycle and my dirty swimming pool got taken care of just like that, i had a lot of leaves in the deep end around the main drain, and it got all of them in one pass, but a few, and the next day just the quick cycle to maintain the pool was enough to finish cleaning the whole thing, my swimming pool has never been that clean, which reduced the back-washing sessions and already save us some money. This robot is a winner, and to remove the bag and clean it after usage, and then put it back in place is very easy, turn the robot on its back, open four little plastic clips and the bag is here, dump the content, hose it off, and put it back in place, a breeze. Five STARS, definitely !
BalasHapusThey is a diamond amoungst a bunch of glass. I have had them all. Polaris, Krawley and other Hayward junk. Hayward should stick to pumps and filters. This one I thought would be no better. I have been running the Nitro for 12 months. I was wary as it looked to flimsy but it works like crazy. My pool has never been cleaned so well. I have some redwoods that the neighbors have that drop their very spikey needles and my own Texas Umbrellas (China Berry) which are in full fall with the long stick type of leaf stems. And it cleans the china berry's themselves that the squirrels cut in half and litter the pool with this time of year. All of it gets sucked in and devoured. Cleaning it out is easy and no clogs in the suck holes. No wimmpy jambs in the wings. No breaking of the mechanism. I am delighted. My only cavaets are they didn't use stainless on some of the inside screws which I replaced. The bag which I thought wasn't so tough is. No holes or damage after a year.

BalasHapusI had a Baracuda x7 which never seemed to get anything off the floor or walls. Perhaps my pump wasn't big enough to create the amount of suction I needed...who knows. The Nitro took a scummy filthy pool and cleaned it with very little effort on my part. Great product.

I would say my time invested weekly has been cut by a tenth from what I used to spend cleaning etc...This is my first venture on an automatic pool cleaner and could not be happier. It does what it says and is easy to clean and easy to store. I love the fact that I can drop it in my pool on a Saturday morning before breakfast and by the time my friends get over by 11am the pool is crystal clear and ready for a cannonball! Would recommend this to anyone! I would say the next time I purchase a pool cleaner it will definately be a Nitro brand.

I've had this little guy for 6 months now and love him! I have used it once a week for the 6 months with no problems what so ever. My pool doesn't get too dirty so I wanted something that would pick up all the small stuff and it does. My pool is rectangular and it still covers every square inch of it and has never left a spot undone. Leaves the pool pristine condition!! I bought the black one so as someone said make sure you buy the black one and not the purple one, looks like the purple one has had some problems. This one hasn't. My opinion - Well Worth the Investment Absolutely Great Product!!! And the price is right
BalasHapusI bought this product a little over two months ago and am very pleased with its perfomance. Positives 1) cleans whole pool including walls 2) uses a bag to pickup debris rather than the pool filter. This means no priming and the pool water stays clearer. 3) Easy setup- just plug it in and drop it in the pool. 4) It will clean while our solar cover is on. Negatives 1) It does not clean steps or behind ladder. 2) Occasionally the fan doesn't start right away and it just spins around doing wheelies. Turning it on and on a few times seems to fix this issue. Overall I am very happy that I purchase this unit. It does a better job that I did cleaning the pool and it is very easy to use.
